WTT Total Chaos LT kit with Remote Reservoir Coilovers for Mid-Travel kit

I bought this kit as a bit of a "bucket" list item. I'm not sure what to do with it yet. I've got a 2001 4runner 4x4 with the big flares that I DD about 30k miles a year.

I've got a vision of getting some 5+" backspaced 17" wheels and trying to run this kit with stock fenders. However, i'm not really sure how feasible that is (even if I limit travel) and since I'm 4x4 I'd need to invest some more $$ in axles.

I also have a 4th gen 4runner rear axle (complete with disc brakes, etc) that would allow the rear to almost match the front.

My 4runner is currently built with Donahoe (icon) front coilovers, Allpro winch bumper, 285/75/16 BFG all-terrains on TRD FJ cruiser wheels. It really is a great set-up and has been cross country and gotten me where I need to go.

SO, i figured I'd see if there is someone out there with a nice (newer) mid-travel set-up that wants to go full-LT. My Donahoe shocks currently need to be rebuilt (not a big deal) but it would be a nice time to upgrade. Obviously it would be a trade plus cash on your end. I'd look at Icon, King or Fox 2.5" shocks (with remote reservoirs) and an upper arm (optional).

So, before I get impatient and throw this LT kit on my 4runner show me what's out there.

I do have 16" 600 springs for the coilovers and beard limit straps as well.

I'd sell outright for $1800.

Just to clarify because I've been asked a few times now. This is a full +3.5" LT kit, the lower arms will NOT work with the TC stock replacement uppers.

not looking for long travel, but if you want to wait a bit my external resi cdc valve icon fronts may be for sale soon. they are practically brand new and less than 2 months old. i'm tired of dealing with icon. i should have an answer in about a week or so.

What sort of issue are you having with them? I've had great service even on the old donahoe coilovers that I bought used.

the last 3 things i bought from them have had issues with either fail prematuely, or be built wrong and other issues such as time frame for the build and customer service. they made me feel like a freaking number.

That sucks, I'm sorry to hear that and can imagine it would be frustrating. I'm really only interested in working out a trade + cash from someone else for these parts, if i sell them outright I'll just upgrade my existing Donahoe/Icon coil overs since they are due for a rebuild anyway.

I know how you feel, I tried to explain to Icon about my rear shocks and they seem not interested in helping their customer out. Don't get me wrong I love my old donahoes and they were solid and never had any problem since I put them on my truck. On my new Icon coilovers, the springs started to show some rust from just driving on the street and how sad is that?
