Took it on a trip down the coast to Jacksonville, Florida to board a cruise on the Carnival Fascination:

I have 5100s in now and I was thinking of getting 884s to put ayat the first notch till I get 275-70s then moving them up to the second notch. That sound reasonable based on your experience with that setup?

They work well on the 2nd notch. If I were you I'd probably go with the 885s since you have the V8.

I have had these for about 4 months on and off road and they are great. The only 2 issues I had were I had the seller ship me another set of ball joints. I don't think I proberly pressed them fully the first time. They sent me moog balljoints ( which were different from the originals). I had RSG in Lakewood press them for me.
The bushings are too big to fit all 4 washers. Only 2 fit. You can shave them down, or buy grade 8 smaller ones like I did. Other than that, for the price, you can't beat it!

Uhh, probably around 20k miles or more. No problems so far.
