You paid too much. I paid $98 for DDM 55 watt HID kit with slim ballast. They have lifetime warranty. You have none.
They sell Raptor kits for as low as $45 and they no different than any other kit out there.

6000K kit is ok depends what you after, looks or performance. Go higher in K value if you like blue/purple. Stay at 4300K if you after brightest set-up possible.

55 watt ballast will boost your output to 30-40% over 35 watt. These are REALLY bright but cheap kit bulbs get VERY hot from 55 watt and may melt your projectors/housing. Avoid using kit bulbs with 55 watt, go with Phillips 85122 or better yet DL-50 which is THE ONLY true 50 watt bulb

I have a 2007 4runner and just want to make sure I get the correct headlights, just don't know if I'm supposed to choose "with" or "without" CANbus.

I'm looking at these, any input would be appreciated. I'm posting here since you guys are the experts to me. I want brighter for driving up and down the coast along Big Sur. Thanks!

I just purchased that exact one. You want without canbus. I am really pleased with the output of the 5000k and am glad I didn't go with the 6500k like I was originally thinking. Installation is really easy, there is an old thread here where someone does a step by step of their HID install which helped me a lot.
