Xenon Depot HID Troubleshooting

So recently I'm noticing a bit of an issue with my XD H11 Xtreme Kit with the Philips bulb. These were installed in 2016, and lately I'm noticing that they warm up differently. When they were first installed, both fired up white/blue and warmed up to the 4300k color temp pretty much evenly.

Now:

Driver Side - Fires up blue (5000k temp) and settles to around 4000k (white/yellow) after about 15 seconds.

Passenger Side - Fires up immediately to a yellow halogen color then warms up pretty close to the driver side color temp, maybe slightly yellow.

Both sides eventually warm up to roughly the same color temp, but that initial mismatched colors is puzzling as I'm used to HIDs behaving like how the driver's side is (blue to white warm up).

Anyone else seeing this with their kit?

As long as they eventually reach the same temp/color, most likely nothing to worry about. Aftermarket kits are not made to the same quality controls as OEM components are.

If you want to try and dig deeper, you can swap bulbs from one side to side. If the problem follows the bulbs, then its something with the bulbs. If problem remains on the same side, then it is related to the ballasts.

they are re-based philips bulbs, so the quality should be good

i'd try swapping side to side to confirm if it follows the bulbs

My comment was more with regards to the ballasts. Aftermarket ballasts are notorious for not living up to the specs they are blessed with.

I have the Xenon Depot hids as well except in a 5k version . Installed them about 10 months ago and the driver side headlight produces a slightly more white color than the rh side which has more of a blue tint . Take a quick video of what you are describing and send them an emal they have great customer service.
