Hi,

Since you got the Philips HID bulbs they do color shift to 4700K after 100 hours of usage. If you are still not happy with them, I can offer you the 5000K HID bulbs at a reduced price.

I am performing the 06 swap into an 03 4runner limited. I am wanting to buy the extreme hit in 4300 35W.

Questions:
1. What is Can Bus and do I need it?
2. Is this still a straight plug and play install?
3. I have a rockauto headlamp assembly, will the 35w be too hot?

1. You would only need it if the same light is the DRL (Daytime Running Lights) which on the 2003 4Runner is a completely different bulb.
2. Yes, our HID kits have been designed to be plug n play.
3. To better answer this, I see in 2003 the low beam bulbs were 9006, what bulb do the new head lights use? Most halogen bulbs for the low beam are 50-55w so this wouldn't be an issue at all with our 35W HID kits.

4. I'm pretty sure the 06 is H11 bulb. I have the adapter for the swap from 9006 to H11. At 35W will be the heat from the bulb be ok for after market housing?

1- Is the DRL on the light you are looking to upgrade or is it on a separate light? If it's separate then you don't need a CANbus fix.

2- You would just need to get our H11 HID kit then and it already has 9006 connectors on the ballast and relay harness so you can connect it that way directly.

2. Thanks for that. Just curious as I want to be sure I am ordering the correct product. Why would the H11 kit have a 9006 adapter if it's intended to replace an H11 bulb? Sorry for the Noob question.

To further clarify on #2, it's because our ballast and relay harness use standard 9006 style connectors to make them universal with all of our HID kits. We provide a trigger wire with every HID bulb that allows you to connect from the ballast and or relay harness into the correct fitment type (In your case H11).

You guys will be amazed at the difference between the HID kit and the stock lighting. It is absolutely amazing! Especially paired with LED fog lights. Just make sure to adjust them. I didn't for about the first 3 weeks, and definitely get a lot of brights at you!
 
Yep, I just got the ugly email from Xenon Depot stating that the Phillips H11 4300's are out of stock. Dang it. Guess I'm on the waiting list.
 
Just placed my order. Last day to save 15% off! get it while its hot! can't wait to get these installed
