Are you able to read live data with this cable? I have a $20 ebay one and it fails to read. I am able to make adjustments in the customize section though.



All MVCI drivers throw the antivirus warning. I normally disable it while I'm using Techstream.

Yes, it can read live data, I tried 2 times,and it can always work.

This one is only 23.99USD, seems to be copy one, not Xhorse product. What I used is Xhorse product, what it can do? and can't do? Can it read live data?

Have not received the cable yet.

Just ordered it when I posted.

Once I get it, I will update as to what functions it can do.

Remove headers from exhaust manifold, drive around, reinstall headers. Is this like a trick question, or something? What does it have to do with techstream?

Crawl under vehicle and look for exhaust leaks, excessive rust, and loose heat shields.

techstream V10.10.018

Got one mini vci by Xhorse running techstream V10.10.018. Verified running well.
Bought from: New MINI VCI For TOYOTA TIS Techstream V10.10.018 16Pin Cable

USB port plugs to laptop, the other end goes to the OBD2 port. I was advised better run techstream on old computer running windows XP, but I run at XP Mode in Win7 pro, it works.

Techstream V10.10.018 installation is simple, no need to active.
1) Install TOYOTA TIS Techstream
2) Install MCVI driver
3) Click "MVCI Firmware Update Tool" on the desktop to read out device detailed info including SN, model, firmware version, dealer code, status.
4) Finally, click "Techstream" on the desktop to diagnose, read out fault code, datastream.

Then, I got techstream working on 2015 TEP, Worked on 2015 Trail.

I did not buy this cable. I simply bought a cheap one from amazon. It worked with no issues.
