XM - Recent Renewals?

I called XM and they told me the $77 plus Roylaty is for the full XM lineup, but no Sirius channels (NFL, play-by-ply etc.).
 
Well yesterday I received A letter from XM which offered me the $77 year promo rate. Looks like they probably send this letter to everyone after a few weeks after the trial ending. I went ahead and signed up for it, Can't beat 50% off for a yeat.

sounds like i got what everyone else is getting; the $77 rate, plus $12 for royalty fees, plus tax. the rep said i would have everything that i had during the trial period. i'm curious to see if that includes the traffic data.

interesting though - the rep said the plan would convert after the first year to a 3 year plan and they'd put me in the best plan. maybe i should of signed up for 2 years? dunno.
 
Bubba Army! If you have renewed XM without best of sirius you have missed the boat.
If you want music use Pandora.
If you want entertainment listen to Bubba, Howard, and Ferrall on Sirius 101 available on XM
without the talk radio personalities sat radio sucks
 
I want to get this straight. My sat radio free trial just ended. Would you guys recommend for me to wait for them to send me something offering the $77 rate? If I call I may or may not get the cheaper rate?
 
I had to try 4 phone numbers before I could even get through to XM. Once through, they wouldn't do anything. Clueless about the $77/year offer and totally unwilling to take into account that I have a Sirius subscription already. Makes me crazy that I have to listen to them on the radio constantly referring to themselves as XM Sirius, but when you talk to them it's like they are competitors!

I trial ended today, so I guess I'll wait for them to come back with something.

It took them 2 months after my trial ran out for them to send me a letter with the $77 for a year and waive reconnect fees offer. Your call if you want to wait for it. I'm waiting for the $20 for 5 months offer cause I may be moving overseas in the next year and don't want to pay for music I won't be able to get. My USB is working just fine for now.

on lexus, here are the fees for xm

1 year, 164.24
2 year, 282.49
3 year, 402.40

why the .... is it higher on the lexus?
 
Aren't we supposed to have a free trial? If so, do they limit it to certain channels? I am getting only the NEWS, classical and 80s. It makes me want to rip my eyeballs out
 
For me... the $77 rate didn't include the real time traffic on the Nav unit - though the rep said, I would definitely have it. Not sure if its worth a call... isn't Real Time Traffic another tier?

The price shouldn't differ for the type of car you put it in. I got the $77 per year for my Xmp3 player. I would call again and ask for the $77 rate.

i wont be renewing likely. i think the price i got is for traffic and weather and other stuff, not just the music
 
I renewed today. I got the $77 plan. I did have to call twice to get the $77 rate, first guy told me that promotion had ended. The Sirius add on was $48, so was traffic. I skipped both.

I called 800-967-2346 if anybody needs the number.
