And yeah I was thinking about the full sized bottles for a bit, but I could probably get away with a small bottle and get it refilled as necessary. In my apartment, the 220v dryer is right near the back concrete patio where I typically weld so it could be a nice setup

When putting on the 35x10.50s, I started to have some pretty significant tire to wiper tank contact.



I just let it go for a while, but eventually I cracked the wiper tank while out with some buddies. Then, I finally decided it was time for relocation


I was originally planning to follow the Silver Rhino Media guide (linked here), but after ordering the Dorman tank, I just didn't like how it fit with the v6 intake. So, I got a different container I liked at Walmart and made my own brackets. Along the same principles as the Silver Rhino Media guide, so I won't go into a whole lot of detail as its already covered excellently there.

Drilled holes for my pumps


Started by making a bracket that utilized 2 rivnuts in the fender apron


Then added a leg down to the wheel well, and made sure to space it far enough forward that the bolt head won't be rubbing into the tire. A strap then holes the tank to the bracket


Then it was ready for paint! Also added some weather stripping to the strap to really keep it snug in there.


Right now its hooked up a little wonky. Did the final install at night before leaving on a trip, and I couldn't get the front pump wiring cable management clips unhooked in the dark. The front and rear pumps have different wiring connectors and I wanted to at least have the front fluid working, so I plumbed the front nozzles into the rear pump. Once this snow clears I'll get it hooked up right, but at least it works for now!

Welp, my driver front door lock actuator has taken its last breath. Thats 1 door lock actuator each year, with each one of them happening in the winter. Just going to order one from the same guy on eBay, since I has satisfied with the rear lock actuators I received. And I like that it is lifetime warranty (as long as his ebay store is still cooking)

Yep I got them from the seller actuatorplus on eBay: actuatorplus on eBay. All you have to do is mail back the old actuator in a preaddressed and prepaid padded envelope that is included with the actuator shipment, and the lifetime warranty is activated

The LR failed in Dec 2019 and I purchased this in March 2020: Toyota 4Runner Rear Left Door Lock Actuator 2003-2009 **Lifetime Warranty** | eBay

The RR failed in Jan 2021 and I purchased this in Jan 2021: Toyota 4Runner Rear Right Door Lock Actuator 2003-2009 **Lifetime Warranty** | eBay

The LF just failed Jan 2022, so when it warms up a bit I'll buy this one: Toyota 4Runner OEM Front Left Door Lock Actuator 2003-2009 **LIFETIME WARRANTY** | eBay. For now, the key still works to unlock the front door, but using the clicker is my preferred method for unlocking and locking

And I even sent it to the eBay seller so he could forward it along with his 2003-2009 actuators, and he replied to my writeup with a t4r account made in 2013!

not for me, but I wish! Mine still works, but the manual shifter is so fun. For a buddy's 05 tacoma. There are 3 more FJ cases though, so might have to get myself one. this bad girl only has 60k on it, its so clean.

Also you should really do the fj case it was on my short list for my truck before it became a basket case of maintenance then I just got sick of it.

gotcha, hopefully theres something out there for you. the FJ cases are only $200 + $50 core at a local junkyard, and theres 3 more so I may get one to hold onto. not something I can really do right now, I'd have to finish school first and get a daily, but something I'd like to do. Twin stick would also be neat to do.

Nice! I've been thinking about doing something similar not because my tires rub on it, but more so, I hate how exposed my washer tank is with a front bumper.

Were the cables long enough to re-route to that location or did/do you need to lengthen them?

Thanks! right now I have a weird wiring setup there. The rear pump wiring is longer because of its position on the stock tank, so that one was easier to get pulled up behind the headlight. I then have the tubing for the front nozzles plumped into the rear pump, which is the only one currently with the wiring plugged into. The front pump wiring is bundled with the 03-05 fog light and bumper turn signal wiring, and I've been meaning to open the bundle and separate out the front pump wiring but haven't gotten to it. I'd say the wiring is long enough to do without cutting any wires, just opening up the wrap combining the front pump and light wiring and separate out the pump wiring
