Yellow color Headlights and Fog Lights

Has anyone tried the yellow instead of the blue color ?

My Ride is GOld and Im thinking of putting the yellow headlights and fog lights.....I think they cute and will match with the color of my 4runner.......

Plus it will be different...Ithink everybody has the blue ones...

Will you really see the color of your car at night let alone in the beam of your headlights?

well yellow headlights are illegal in most states and would be a sure way to get pulled over

but I'm gonna have to do some research to see if legal in my state...haven't seen so many...but they are some out here with them.

I occasionally see cars with yellow headlights and really like the looks of them! I had yellow fog lights and loved them.

I do not know how yellow headlights would look on a 4runner though, if you do it make sure you take some pics!

How is the light they throw compared to the stock bulbs? Color is obvious, but what about the amount and the job it does lighting up the road.

Having yellow color from your primary lamps is illegal in most states.

And I don't understand the purple I've been seeing lately (which I think is illegal too) which doesn't seem to cast very good light at all when I was driving next to a Civic with them.

Thanks for the advice... do you know if they are legal in Indiana?...I just can't find any info about it not even in the Motor Vehicle website....

But to be honest...after I saw the Pic posted from TEGo...i think Im gonna do what he did... just the High Beams to give my baby Goldy a little nice touch...

I just like the way they look...

It's a lot brighter than stock thats for sure! It does a great job lighting up the road and signs when I have the high beams.

I think your best bet would be to ask a cop and see what he says to be honest.
I think yellow headlights look awesome and they do provide very good visability but it would make you a sitting duck to get pulled over alot more so then dark tint or black tails.

i had yellow hid 3000k 55watt in my lows on my 07 , it look so good at night. I had it for over a month before the sherrif decide to pull me over and give me a fat ticket for it about 140, and its illegal to have yellow in the low beams . Atleast in california. But i can tell you guys the output was amazing and look good with my black truck

I was searching for the legality of these lights and came across a law enforcement forum where you had actually asked about if they were legal and the responses helped clear it up.

WHERE DID YOU GET YOURS??

I bought them from Ebay, they're the Nokya bulbs.

My HID's and LED's are not that blue, really hard to capture the true colour of the HID kit and LED. (its a 6000K HID kit btw)

i ask the sherrif if it was a fix it ticket, he said it was, then i bring it to the courthouse and the clerk said it wasnt, wat a bunch of liers, i end up paying that fine.
