Yep, another tire thread

In the suspension/tires sticky, I see that a 265/70/17 (roughly the same size as 265/65/18) is listed as fitting "except BFG A/T)". Of course, the BFG is one of the options I am considering. I have a stock unlifted Limited. Has anyone tried putting a 265/65/18 on a stock rig? If so were you able what exactly needed to be done? Mud flap removal, pushing liner forward and even minor trimming are within my comfort zone. Basically I'm trying to see if I could fit the BFGs without some sort of lift.

I'm usually pretty good at searching but in this case it's a nightmare when trying to search for specific tire sizes and also due to the various names people reference those tires by.

What you listed should be the extent of the modifications required to fit aggressive square tires such as the BFG A/T.

I ran 265/70/17 BFG stock without taking any further steps.

Rubbing wasn't zero but it was close enough that I didn't bother doing anything about it, especially since it disappeared over time. I'd be shocked if anything you'd have to do would be outside of your referenced comfort zone.

Disclaimer: This was on an '05 which is the year before the mid-cycle body changes.
