Yet another "will these tires fit" thread

Hi everyone,

Yes I tried to search, but the information is scattered and not exactly clear.

My 2011 Limited is stock.

I am fairly certain I will do a top plate 2.5/1.5 lift like Daystar.

I believe I have XREAS, I have red shocks all around with lines on them, but need to get under it to be sure. I have read about the types of suspension these came with.

The question is rather simple.

What is the biggest All Terrain tire I can fit on the stock 20" wheels with a 2.5/1.5 top plate lift without rubbing or needing any modifications?

If this is not possible, what is the least amount of modding needed besides the lift?

Looks like the wider 275x55R20 tire needs a 7.5" wide wheel, and my stock ones are only 7" wide. Will this still possibly work, or do I have to purchase new wheels also?

Trying to keep costs low as this is not a "forever" truck for me, (2-3 years tops) but stock is way to low to the ground for my needs.

Appreciate any advice from those who have direct experience.

Thanks!

Seafury not trying to sound like a d1ck, but there is a lot of scattered information because people keep starting new threads. The best thing I've found is the chart found here:

Going Bigger - 5th Gen Tire Fitment Guide

I don't have personal experience with 20's but you can probably find some folks within this thread that do. Good luck.

i think those tires will be fine on your stock wheels if you find a shop willing to mount them as they are out of spec for the wheel. i dont think other members who run those have issues with rubbing either.

Thank you, I did read through all that but answers are not clear.

Appreciate the effort.

Instead of the stupid 15 posts before you can do anything, it should be 30 searches.

I understand your frustration.

However nice that sounds it would just ensure nobody uses that website.

Nothing is more annoying then a forum you can't post on.

Idk why people get so bent about new threads.
It doesn't hurt anything.
It doesn't cost anything.
It's just digital pixels.
Life is to short to get emotional over silly interwebs stuff.

personally, i would ditch the 20" and get the 17". i believe the 20" came with a a 245/60/20. and the other 4runners come with 265/70/17. below is a comparison. by going with a 17", you'll have more tire sizes to choose.
