Yosemite campsites away from other campers

I'm going to be heading up to Yosemite this upcoming weekend but when I called only camp 4 is available for first come first serve. Are there any sites in the park that are a bit more secluded than the ones offered by nps? If not then we're going to try for sequoia/kings canyon.

When we went we stayed outside the park. Cheaper and less busy plus we just drove up.

Do you need campground facilities? bathroom, running water etc? If not there are numerous options in the NF both south and west of the park , off hwy. 41 and 120 . They're about a 30-45 min. drive into the Valley proper. You can always try to get day-of campsite cancellations....
