Just sold my 2003 Toyota MR2 Spyder because I was sick of getting 30mpg.

Well, actually I just wanted a tiny bit more practicality lol.

Anyways, Here's my new ride: 1997 SR5 4x4 on Bilsteins and 2018 wheels with 238,096 miles:

All I've gotta do is get that sport hood painted, do some basic maintenance, and shes all set.

I've gotta say, I LOVE this color. I don't know exactly what it is, but I rarely see other 3rd gens in this color. Its like metallic-y brown with a hint of dark greenish? When the hood gets painted, it'll look so sharp.

What do you guys think about these brand new rims on the 3rd gen? I think it looks really sweet.

Any pics of the Spyder??

**MR2 Pics**

it was a little rough around the edges, but a completely solid, crazy fun to drive car.

I put a lot of time and money replacing the transmission on my own for $1500+, and didn't get what I wanted when selling it due to the salvage title. oh well. I love the T4R. Already put a lift on it!

I'm right there with you, my daily is a low VW so getting to some trailheads and camping is nothing shy of a nightmare!

The Sport Hood will give it that extra “look” to go with the wheels. Loving my 2001 TR4 Sport Edition 4WD.
