Yotech 3" lift over 265/75/16's?

I have an OME lift (about 2.5 front, and 3 in rear, it now sits level) I have 265/75/16 and I think it looks great!
It is my understanding that if you go with a 285/75/16 you will need at least a one inch body lift as well or you will rub. I believe sn0wrunner has this set up (but with a 2 inch body lift)
It definitely won't look bad. Do the lift and decide on new tires later. I think when my 265's wear out I will get the body lift and 285's like sn0wrunners, but this is only because my rig recently graduated to being a weekend mountain machine only (no daily driving), not because the tires look "small".
GO FOR IT, and post up pics when your done!!

yeah with just my 2.5" lift the 285's were rubbing pretty bad. I dont think it will look bad with just 265's. You can run a 285 but you'll more than likely have to do some trimming. And it depends if you have the larger fenders or not.
265's with 2.5" lift and 1.5" BL

Maybe put an add on craigslist offering to trade your 265's for someone's 285's. My friend traded his 33's for some 35's from some guy that didnt want such big tires. Its worth a shot.

Damn, sn0wrunner your T4R is a friggin BEAST!!!! I love the look, however that's not what I am going for. No way I can justify 285's.
My Michelin's look pretty big compared to the stockers but I am concerned that they'll look too small. I am on the road this week so I can't post photos until Sat. I'll post a couple and you guys tell me what you think.
Talked with ToyTech yesterday and they seem like they are great to work with. Plenty of time for stupid newbie questions and food for thought. If I do this I'll probably pull the trigger hard and upgrade shocks and coils ($995). My truck has about 83K miles so my current suspension is good, what I don't want is to feel like I am riding in a big stiff friggin truck.

I think it looks pretty darn good!
I haven't bought anything from toytec yet, but I sure will some day because not only you, but everyone that i've talked to say that they have the BEST customer service.

HNTMUP- That lift looks really good with those tires. Do you know what the specs of it are, as far as mount of lift? What is the price?

But I think I'll probably go with either of these lifts when I get the funds:
3" Lift with OME Rear Coils
or
2.5" Lift with OME Rear Coils

I know I'm sure that will be a fun process, trying to sift through all the threads and info about tires. I'll probably go with either Toyo Open Country A/T or the BFG A/T's if I'm feeling generous to myself.
