You have 1750-2000 to spend on lifting your 4runner, what do you buy?

You repeat "no issues" over and over.

You want no issues?

Stay with 265's (you do not NEED 275/285 etc etc)
4 X Billies
set front at .85 to level.
Get alignment.
Stop.

(Posted knowing advice will be ignored)

Seems appropriate and fitting advice given the OP's choice of name.

But I do hope he finds a good solution soon, as it helps me learn about options for my (hopefully long away) replacement of XREAS.

Minimalist What did you end up with?

Here's what I'm doing.

-Bilstiens all around (front set at 2.5") $370 ((best bang for the buck.))
-Daystar 1.5 spacers for the rear. $36
-Toytec diff drop $27 (Saves your CV boots)
-SPC UCA's $586 (Allows you to get to "Ideal" alignment)

-Spidertrax 1.25 spacers $199 (Optional for wider stance)

I'm thinking about doing something like this in a phased approach. I'm planning to do all the shop related work at one time to minimize labor costs.

Phase 1 - all shop work (i think)
Bilstien 6112 / 5100 or 5160
Daystar rear spacer and bump stops to keep the rake (I like it)
Diff drop - not really needed but I don't want to pay labor/alinement later to add them if there is an issue
UCA - not really needed but I don't want to pay labor/alinement later to add them if there is an issue

Phase 2
Tires when the stock ones wear out
Rear springs to replace spacers
SpiderTrax wheel spacers

Phase 1?
The Diff drop can be done later really easy! Won't require Alignment.
Depending on what you set the front at will determine if you need to diff drop.

Phase 2"
Adding rear springs will more than likely need alignment to be re-checked. So you might want to consider it in Phase 1.

Thanks for the heads up on the rear springs. I just was assuming that the rear springs wouldn't effect the alignment. I guess it would all come down to if there is a difference in the hight of the OEM spring + spacer vs longer aftermarket spring.
