lol....Very Random, but a great idea. I was on my phone when i saw the links. Do you know if there is anywhere that has all the specs on them, as far as dimensions and such?

Hey Zach, I too am interested in seeing a pic of the sliders being used as side steps. Do you think you can get a picture of that functionality. I just want to make sure my wife can still use them as steps to help her get in. Or, I'd even take a side by side of the old running boards next to the sliders to compare how far they come out.

Yeah they work great as steps, especially if you add some grip tape or something. Congrats on the little one, they're the coolest thing you'll ever have/do.

I was wondering if the steps are easy to access when the door is closed, for roof rack access. It seems that they would have enough room, but just want to check.

They're still easy to access with the door closed. Are you looking at getting the same sliders I have? Btw I just realized you're in st Louis, we need to do a Midwest meet and greet with stl, kc and Omaha people sometime.

I just can't justify paying $500-600 for Shockworks, Bamf or Demillo sliders that are basically there to take the brunt of the damage so you can save the body. I'm sure once I get these welded up and painted or rhino lined it will be closer to that cost, but still cheaper overall.

I'm totally down with a Midwest meet & greet. KC seems like the best place to meet if you're inviting the folks from Omaha. I love KC, so I'm always down for a weekend trip out that way. Plus then I'd actually people to wheel with!

For the money you can't beat these. The quality is damn good and like you said they'll get beat up. I'd jus rattle can them if I were you, that way when they need to be touched up its a five minute job in the driveway.

Maybe we should start putting a kc meet and greet together then. It'll just depend on days, turnout etc. I'd even be down for a campout/cookout type deal. Ha, Schlafly is good but boulevard is the best I think. Hell, they even give free tastings and tours at boulevard if anyone would be interested in doing that.

Bazooka bass tube is done! It sounds fantastic. It's got plenty of power to sound good but never really sound overwhelming and like a 17 year olds car.
