Yup, I always buy 2 jugs instead of individuals and save the oil for next oil change.

Curious - which model Is that? I have a Thule that’s 7 years old and it fit great on my last vehicle but not quite as well on the 4R.

Put 2 lights inside the grill on either side of the toyota emblum. Took some custom brackets but it turned out great.

I have never had a thule to compare it to. This is made by yakima so I’m pretty sure it’s comparable. This box retails for 859 plus tax so I’m assuming it’s one of the higher end boxes.

I cleaned them with gumout and q-tips. Probably something better out there, but that is what I had handy. The screens are metal with a plastic housing. I will inspect them again in 100 miles or so and replace if needed. Cheap and easy if you have the parts.

good god that's a filthy pcv.. but what in the world is an ocv and where can i remove mine for cleaning

There are two filters, one LH and one RH. I didnt pull the OCV's, just the filters. See below.

I like it. That's very retro-looking. Reminds me of an old Willy's Jeep pick-up we had in the 1960's. It was an old truck then.
