New headlights on the market..... look cool, FYI

Here's two screenshots of the beam pattern. Good in front. Not so good to the sides. Pictures can be deceiving though so would love to hear some real life feedback from some of the trusted members here who have had the Morimotos as well.

Do they mention what bulbs they use? The stock

The PRO-Series projector headlights they have uses H7 for both high and low beams. Looks like it does not include anything in H7 so you would have to choose LED, HID or Halogen thats an H7 and supply your own.


Edit: they come with cheap H7 halogens for both low and high beams.

I wonder why they didn't offer with a proper bixenon. Seems like the obvious solution to me rather than have two HID setups or some combo of different lights. And bi xenon lights if they're decent units allow for really easy on-the-fly adjustment of aim for the low beam pattern. Plus that would allow you to put a second set of HID or LED ultra bright off-road only lights in the second position.

Looks 20 times worse vs Morimoto XB.

[MENTION=171452]Steel28[/MENTION] has a valid point regarding the beam pattern pictured and I agree with his observation. I actually was thinking, "How do you do worse than the XBs after seeing the feedback?"

I also have XBs and am quite intrigued to find out whether the higher priced LED NOVA units improve upon the Morimoto beam pattern. Based on what I've seen of these budget Pro units, there's not an improvement unfortunately. Hopefully the NOVAs don't disappoint.
 
I think its kind of hard to judge a beam pattern based off two blurry/shitty pictures.

I think everyone needs to withhold their judgement until someone who actually buys them/does a review on here and substantiate any positive/negative claims

You forget there were videos posted on IG but I'm all for more reviews and better videos for those who haven't seen the videos.

did you watch the vids? Output imo is better than those high priced sub par xb headlights. My stock halogen projectors with morimoto hids produce better output than those xb headlights. If I dont pull through with my retrofit then these are def on my list.

Alright, you seem to pick on people who provide their opinions? I had a choice between new headlights from AlphaRex and XB and still chose XB based on overall feedback from the MANY happy users. I still have an option to return mine after I use them for 2 weeks.

In any case, which lights are YOU getting? If none, have a good day.

Make sure when you buy either product you provide YOUR OWN opinion bwahahah. :baby:
 
I am more cautious and analytical when it comes to upgrades. So far I have not seen anything better then OEM. Waiting on reviews of the pro with hid and led and the novas. Baaaahahahaha. Make sure to keep us updated on your XBs and I will post a review on whatever I get if I get it.

I posted a thread with pictures reviewing/comparing hid vs led bulbs in stock projectors. I’m also on my 4th set of fogs so can provide feedback on that.

I didnt forget, I saw them for myself as well. My OPINION is that the light output is sufficient if not comparable to stock, which I am fine with. But due to the fact that the owner of that truck has not done an indepth review on this site, it would be extremely helpful if an active member did just that.

I have time to send back Morimoto and get AlphaRex if there are made and perform like a Unicorn :). Hope to see detailed review without fog lights turned on bwahahahaha.

Anyway, enjoy spending twice the time doing the swap twice and next time the grown ups are having an adult conversation pls keep your D holster shut. Cheers.

Mine come in tomorrow. Got some H7 base 4300k HID ready to go.

I'm going to shoot some vids with the stock headlights(h11) tonight, and do a comparison on the same roads after I install the Alpharex Pros.
