Would love to get a before/after verdict from you!
I'm open to sound-dampening my doors but worry that most of the sound is coming through the window anyway so I'm just not so sold that the benefit is there...

Installed Scuba Mod on Rear Differential & Diff Locker
Cut the hole with a hole punch in rubber plug # 90950-01958, inserted fuel line, routed it, removed OEM one-way valve from differential, disconnected the 1/8” breather line from the diff locker, connected those to the fittings on the “tee” .
Parts Used:
(1) 90404-51026 Toyota 1/4" Fuel Line Union
(1) 1/8" NPTF Brass Tee
(1) 1/8 X 1/8 HB Male Adapter (1/8" Hose ID X 1/8" Male NPTF Adapter)
(3) 1/4 X 1/8 HB Male Adapter (1/4" Hose ID X 1/8" Male NPTF Adapter)
(1) 1/8" Brass Pipe Plug
(1) 1/4" Brass Pipe Plug
(1) 2 Port Manifold with Filter
6' of 1/4" Fuel Line
Hose Clamps to fit.
Aluminum Bracket fabricated: I made mine out of a piece of 1/8" thick aluminum cut to size, bead blasted it and marked & drilled the holes.
Brass machine screws, washers (flat and lock) and nuts to attach manifold to bracket.
Mounted in the Bottle Jack Compartment with 1/4” SS cap screw, flat, lock washer and nut.

New tires... and some other stuff last week
Finished up my Coastal rear single swing on Tuesday last week. Then installed my Dobinsons lift and JBA UCAs on Wednesday. Got tires today to finish it off. For now.

Sound deadening done correctly makes a huge difference. Only areas I haven't done yet are the front cabin area and the roof but I do have the materials. Night and day with and without and the doors now close with a solid thud rather than a tinny hollow sound. Inner and outer skins done on all doors and tailgate.

Less of a what did I do today and more of what I did recently. Nothing major, but still.
I got a hitch recovery thing. I actually got two. Each came with a d-ring. Now I have two d-rings, an extra hitch thingy in case the other person involved in a hypothetical future recovery scenario doesn't have one, and I have no straps yet. Oh well. Getting there. I installed one for rear end victim protection and removed its d-ring. I figure if someone steals the hitch thing then at least I'll still have my d-ring.
I also got a wheel step thing. It's my first time having a vehicle with a hard top in over 10 years, so I figured a little pick me up will help to clean snow and ice off the top of it since it's so high. It's not like my old Jeep Liberty with its soft top type thing which made cleaning snow and ice EASY since nothing ever froze to it. I wonder if I'm going to be a redneck like I did with my old Wrangler the one time the ice froze as one huge block to the top. I couldn't dislodge it, so I went driving, and the vibrations from the bumps loosened it on a side street. I got up a bit of speed and slammed on the brakes and had the huge slab of ice come down on my hood. I might be a redneck.
I used my 4Runner to take my little RC Trailrunner out a couple times over the weekend. That was fun. I then cleaned the rubbery trunk cover thing. I don't know what it's called. It was covered in mud from my little RC truck.
I saw a Toyota 86 flip in my rear view mirror. The driver was no Takumi Fujiwara, that's for sure. It was twisty, and I know I've got a bigger heavier vehicle, but the weather wasn't inclement in the slightest. I was planted and in rear wheel drive like I should have been, and it was fiiiiiiiiine. I could hear inappropriate revving behind me for about a mile leading up to that corner, and the car dropped back pretty far before taking the turn. I wonder if he was setting up to drift it. I could see him get sideways, then he snapped back to going sideways the other way, and then he was flipping over. I had to turn around to get back to the crash, so other people had already gotten there to help the guy before me. It looked like everyone was okay. The driver was visibly upset. Oh well. That's life sometimes. Spend a few years driving a Corolla and then maybe pick up the next gen of the 86/BRZ down the line. And don't do stupid stuff on public roads, especially if you can't handle it. I swear he would have been better off if he turned into the spin. He might have still gone off the road, but he probably wouldn't have careened off the road face first like he did.

Being half Canadian, felt it was fitting to do the Canadian SR5 bumper swap on my limitedlove the way it looks, and gives a little unique flair.

Did a quick run out to Ruby Falls on the weekend with a few buddies. Great trail ride. Had some issues getting over a 3ft ice ledge in a half frozen river... ended up with 8inches of water in my rig and had to be winched out. Spent till last night drying everything out. 4 fans 2 space heaters and a wet vacuum. Worked wonders. Let it go another 24 hours after dry just to be sure..

Went outdoors this weekend
Also tested my brother in law's new 04 Tacoma. It's a prerunner, so it's got a locker and it came with new ko2's. It followed the 4runner everywhere, and I got worried a few times. Surprised, but not surprised!

Side Exhaust Mod done today!
Parts Used:
Toyota Black Exhaust Tip PT932-89180-02 ($55.00)
KHAOS 2.5" 2-1/2" 90 Degree 304 Stainless Steel Mandrel Bend Pipe Exhaust USA 16ga SS (from eBay) (29.99)
The guy I used (doing this for 26 years at his own shop), cut the OEM pipe just behind the hanger, cut the new SS pipe just before one of the bends, expanded the opening so he would be able to angle it down (so it would not be pointed down, but horizontal), but still fill the gap with the welds.
Before welding, he measured where the tip would be positioned, cut off excess amount of pipe for the side exit, flared the end slightly and welded to the OEM pipe and then my tip on the SS pipe.
He did this effortlessly without issue!
OH, he charged me $40.00 out the door.
Not a bad deal for 125.00 total with SS parts, IMHO!

I bought these parts to make this happen (from Toyota), the bumper came from Amazon, and for paint, I started with a white base, then did duplicolor white pearl (070 code), then a few layers of clear. I trimmed my existing fender liners quite a bit with shears (whatever it works lol). The grille is from Toyota Accessories Guy. For the bumper portion (not including grille) I spent about $400 which is really doable.

Just got my new 2021 TRD Offroad Premium a few weeks ago, and had to fix one annoyance today. I hated having to reach down and plug in my phone for Android Auto, and it didn't fit in any of the shelves (Oneplus 6t) so I designed and 3d Printed a dock.

Yes, I was going to say the same thing. [MENTION=626156]laserdemon[/MENTION] the lower panels of the dash pop out super easy and you can hide that wire real simple.
