HIDs in factory Hella fog lights? 96-98

Has anyone put HIDs in the factory Hella fog lights on a 96-98 4Runner? The H3 bulb is pretty short and most of the pictures that I found of the HID H3 bulb look like it might be a little too long. On top of that, what does the back of the H3 HID bulb look like since there is really no room behind the lens between the housing and the bracket it sits in?
