LED turn signals - hyper flashing and how to fix?

I just had my bumper installed (Demello) along with their LED turn signals. They were attached directly to the wire relay of the old harness and it is now hyper flashing.

Is there a way to slow them down back to normal?

Or you could get the flasher relay that is made for the LED's.

This notates it as for 2005 and mine is a 2004..

take a peek behind the driver side fusebox inside, and see if your truck has the 8 pin flasher, usually if you dont have drl, its a 8 pin. flasher relays are only 20 and under.

Sorry if I'm confused - are you saying I can replace the fuse to slow it down?

not fuse, the flasher unit, its behind the fuse box, there are led flasher replacement. Amazon.com: 8-Pin 81980-50030 066500-4650 Electronic LED Flasher Assy Relay Fix For Lexus Scion or Toyota LED Turn Signal Light Bulbs: Automotive
if you want the fancier version, there the tap turn with strobe which cost some where 100+

Get the electronic flasher unit the riceandpho suggests. Much safer than the resistor setup and easier.

I used this to fix it on my 2004 SR5

It's mounted on the back of the driver side fuse box. There's a thread somewhere here detailing the swap. It's quite straight forward. Unplug old one. Plug in new one. Voila.

he has a 5th gen, not sure where the unit is, maybe its the same behind the fuse box.

Yeah, I'd be all for ordering that one but my concern is that it may be a waste of time just because it may not work for my gen/year. Trying to find a service manual.

just take a look, if its 8 pin flasher it should work.

I just want to make sure, is this the correct flasher to get?

It says it does NOT replace your flasher? so how does it work? Or is there a way to just replace the flasher?

Also are there instructions on how to replace the flasher, I couldn't figure out how to get to it.

DRL-equipped 4th-gens like yours use a different flasher relay which uses a 12-pin connector, non-DRL 4th-gens use a 8-pin flasher relay like the one you posted from Amazon. Long story short, that flasher won't fit.
