What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Took the 4Runner on the first "long" trip. About 200 miles round trip and got 21.3 MPG according to the vehicle meter. It feels real good on the highway at speed. Cruise set at 65 to 70 most of the way, hit quite a bit of bumper to bumper traffic on the way home though. I'm really enjoying this truck.

Different backspacing would put the tires in the same spot without spacers.
I I'll do the BMC if that's what it takes, it just without knowing the alignment numbers I'd rather start there first.

Not quite. 17x8 with 4.5" BS and 0 offset is generally the magic number. You're at probably 3.5" BS now, maybe less. In this picture I'm running 1.5" lift with 295s and no rubbing, no BMC

Yesterday drove 13hrs back to Ohio from Oklahoma. If my dog and most of my guns weren't back in Ohio I might not have come back. Wanenmacher was in Tulsa, so I might have even been able to replace the guns.

Acts as a filter so to speak for the air that vents out of the engine and into the intake. That air carries some nasty combination of water and oil which cakes up in your intake and on your valves. I emptied mine after about 1600 miles to show a friend what it does and it was about 1/3 full. Mine is full of mostly water at each 5K mile oil change. Looks like chunky chocolate milk.

Differential swap?

Do you think this means that a locking differential could replace the stock 4Runner Limited AWD rear diff?

Yes, Install went really easy with the Mirror tap. Took all of about 10 minutes once I determined which wire was which on mirror. The longer flat mirror taps worked the best for mine. So far the Pro M has been really good. It’s super quiet, so I get worried that it’s not working, but it seems to pick up everything with a good distance. Tonight on the way home it picked up a local Sheriff that was driving the same direction, a good 1/2 mile ahead of me with 2 cars in between us. He was running Ka band and flipping it on and off as cars approached. The blind spot filtering is fantastic. Better than any detector I’ve had previously.

The physical bumper install was very straightforward and easy. The most time consuming part was the bumper trimming, mainly because I cut on the long side of their measurements because I wanted a smaller "gap" so it was a lot of trimming and test fitting to get it how I wanted.

Shrockworks make a heck of nice bumper with a very simply design, I am very pleased with my purchase!
