I loaded some pics of the mount with their neoprene gasket. I figured some butyl rubber on either side of the gasket, all around, wouldn't hurt. Just snug up the mounts until the neoprene starts to compress much like you did the silicone gaskets and call it a day.

anyone almost forget to reinstall the LCA knuckle bolts...

heh yeah me neither..... Finally got my front (1.75") and rear 5100s and rear .75" cornfed spacer installed last night.

Overall the install didn't go too bad but definitely spent a lot of time fighting getting the trac bar bolt back in. It got a little late and I was getting impatient and saw the final step of just putting my wheels back on and then I looked down and couldn't figure out what these last two bolts were for then finally realized what I was missing.

The 4R is currently getting its alignment done and then I'm all set.

Yep, I believe they opened a week or two ago. I thought it'd be empty since you have to call to find out, but it was packed. All designated camp spots at the end of the trail were full and a lot of the more dispersed sites were also taken.

vice grips/pliers (various)
wire cutters/crimpers
crimps and connectors
multmeter

ive got a bunch of other misc things that i have, but it's small stuff like nuts and bolts and trim clips and shit like that.

Thing thing is rather large.. It will take up more space than a conventional roll up tool bag but will also be pretty diverse

Installed the TRD pro grill on my new 2020 ORP. Went with OEM didn't want to have to modify the aftermarket to fit or wait for a version with the cutout.

What part of Wisconsin. I just bout mine last Friday in MGM. My dealer only had a white ORP and said I was in luck another dealer needed a white and was able to trade for my MGM.

I bought it from Russ Darrow in Madison. I bought it on the 22nd but had to wait on a transport to bring it down to Texas.

Interesting. How are the tops of the mounts sealed? Those slots may be difficult to cover.

Took delivery of the new to me used replacement trans crossmember. Crawled underneath and made sure it matched up. Replacement support whatchamacallit should be coming later this week. Prob zip all that in over the weekend.

Ordered rci steel skids during the Memorial Day sale. Not sure on the ETA but I imagine they are Zeusing those together right about meow.

Need to think about a replacement gas tank skid. Thinking going c4 because it seems pretty stout. I’m pretty sure the oem skid is mushed into the tank in a few spots. Might drop it, beat it with a hammer, and inspect the tank while I’m under there this weekend.

Good to know that piece can be ordered separately. I think I busted 3/4 of the weldnuts my skids attach to. I drilled them out and used automotive rivnuts in their place but at least I know it can be replaced if need be.

Yup eBay. Think this one is from a 16’ sr5 4x4 that rolled.

Helicoils are also an option. Might be stronger then rivnuts but I honestly don’t honestly know.

Hmm although I'm not sure a helicoil would work. The metal probably wouldn't be thick enough to support a helicoil. I'm guessing the more threads that are ingrained into the metal the stronger it would hold and that crossmember is likely 1/8" steel. When the oem weldnut broke I basically had to cut the bolt and fish it out one of the holes. The other thing that could work is a sticknut like many sliders use to mount to the frame.

A rivnut isn't as strong but it would at least pinch up against the frame. I was a little concerned about the strength of the brass rivnuts that come with most kits or ones that could be bought on amazon so I bought some rivnuts from a local dodge dealership for Mopar sidesteps used RAM 1500's. At least I knew they'd be automotive grade and a little more heavy duty which they look the part.
