Thinking the dealer used the wrong filter for my 10k oil change

What did you do?

Did the dealer do anything to fix the situation?

In my case, the dealer is only offering to complete a leak down test and an oil pressure test to identify any potential damage.

I am sick to my stomach.

That is the correct filter. The number on the filter is for the filter only, the YYZA5 number is for the kit that includes the rubber gaskets and plastic filter drain tool. You're good to go with that filter!

I did my first oil change after reading about some dealer nightmare stories, and discovered the existing filter was shorter than the correct one. I thought I was given the wrong filter at the parts counter, but discovered the existing filter was the wrong one. The factory skid plate fasteners were also stripped, so right then and there I vowed the dealer oil change monkeys would never again touch my truck. It's pitiful they can't even replace a few bolts without stripping them.
That is the reason for my old school 3k mile oil change intervals. I know tell me I'm foolish.....but the $35 I spend on an oil change doing it myself, is not that bad IMHO.
It surely gives me pause when looking at a used vehicle with "all factory service performed at the dealer". These days, that and a nickel, MIGHT get you a stick of gum. Im really getting tired of no accountability in the dealer and automotive service world. It would almost be worth a snoop camera under your vehicle to have some recourse when you have a complaint. It would serve them right getting caught in they're bold faced lies.
