Yes.

I finally got my OME leaf install done this past Sunday, and it's awesome! Unfortunately, I underestimated how bad my shocks were, so my ride is now just super bouncy, but overall it's a lot more smooth and I can actually go over speed bumps now. Here are some pics :

Here's a nice photo I took. The truck all in all looks pretty even, all though there's about an inch of rake. It looks nice, I like it, install was a pain at first until I used ratchet straps to move the axle, then it was really easy. I'm goin wheelin this weekend so we'll see how it goes!
 
Finally was able to test out my leafs offroad. I fully flexed the rear a couple times (wheel off the ground) and I have a good amount of flex. It's not amazing, but it's pretty good. PICS

Kinda hard to see, but my rear passenger side tire is off the ground a few inches.

Here's a better pic of my tire off the ground, and my awesome tread. I actually found out I have a small gash in this tire today :Cry:

That's about all the good pics I got. Most of the time today I was actually doing some go fast stuff (40 ish mph offroad), and the leafs held up surprisingly well! My rear shocks are basically blown, so it's super bouncy back there, but otherwise it actually rides really nice off road. I'm pleased. :biggrin2:

Oh! I also got some flood lights to mount on my bumper. Unfortunately, one of the nuts fell off the bolt somehow on one of the lights, so I had to take it off (hence why I only have one light in the photos). The lights are pretty awesome, and they were only $10 each. I'll post pics of their brightness later maybe.

That's typical Rocky Road. I think those clowns are racing NWO for worst customer service in the offroad biz.

When you're ready for shocks, go with the OME Nitrochargers. The ride quality will blow you away. And what's wrong with your turning circle, do you need to adjust your steer stops? My '85 turns much tighter than the wife's '99, which stands to reason as it's shorter and narrower.

Just noticed this build,looking good!
I know that trail, pretty fun road and awesome view,
is that ledge halfway up that section still there ?
Theres a big group run coming up in a few weeks,

What trail is this. And when is this run. Would love to try to make it.

I'm not really sure what's wrong, it just seems like the turning radius is not very good. My friend has an 89 pickup that's IFS, and his tires can turn probably a good inch or two more than mine. Weird. And I will most likely get those nitrochargers, I've only heard good things about them.

Actually, I have a question, my OME leafs hit the gas tank a tiny bit when flexing. Is there a fix or a way around this? I think it'll clear now since I bent it pretty good, but idk.

I'm not sure which ledge section you're talking about. We did't do the whole trail, my tread wasn't allowing me and it was getting dark. It is a pretty cool trail though!

I believe it's called Killen Truck Trail. The "hard" part is further down the trail, most of it's just long flat dirt roads. Really fun either way, I think I hit 50 mph at one part lol

I haven't had that problem. I'm running 6" shackles, maybe that's the difference?
 
Nope, just plain ones. I've been thinking about going back to stock shackles though, I'll have a look to see if I hit the gas tank skid if I do.
 
Check the clamp on the leaf spring and make sure bolt head is toward the inside. Some people have had the threaded end contact gas tank skid.

Yeah, I actually swapped the bolt around so the threaded end faced away from the tank as soon as I got the leaf spring, since I heard of this issue beforehand. It still hit it though, but it definitely could've been worse if I hadn't flipped it I guess.

I have 33's on order, and I'm gonna try to build a new center console this weekend. I'm gonna make it out of wood, so we'll see how that goes :P Other than that, I'm just trying to save up for a welder so I can make some stuff.
 
Sounds good, what kind of tires, still bfg's? Yeah, a welder makes a big difference but you build almost anything out of wood as well.
