01-02 Master Cylinder / ABS Retro? Details?

I'm interested in potentially installing the 01-02 Brake Master Cylinder / ABS unit in my 2000, simply for the fact that it opens up space under the hood where the current ABS actuator is (for installing an additional battery).

I've not heard of anyone else doing this, but I'm considering this in addition to cutting the brake lines and removing the pump all together, similar to what Drifter33 did. I'm familiar with whats in the 96-2000's, but don't know the 01-02 details.

What would it take to install this? I am not interested in adding all of the traction control features, other than ABS itself, and that's only on a temporary basis. I'm looking for brainstorming, a parts list, and what functionality one could expect.

You would need the abs ecu and wiring that goes with it as well as the speed sensors and wiring plus the trans output shaft speed sensor, It's a huge undertaking if you wanted to retro fit this.
