I think there's a few people who never actually put their name on the list, but still got in on the GB. Me being one of them.

I haven't installed mine yet and probably won't get a chance for awhile, but I'm wondering if people are still having issues with the passenger side bolting up snug.

Kind of off topic here, but i can never understand why people keep the crappy dealer license plate frame.

Noloc, you clearly are into modding the look of your runner with the vvti emblem and tails, which look nice BTW. Why not spend $10 and ditch the free advertising for the stealer? The very first thing i did was get rid of them, even before i had license plates that crap was gone. Just wondering.

Hey guys the tail lights look great. sounds like you got a good deal on them too. I bought the JDMs from Carson Toyota way back in December. If you're looking to change out the amber bulb and loose the "fried egg look", I found a site that has either LEDs or a chrome painted bulb, which is what i bought. I think it makes the tail lights look that much more clean-looking. Check out this site http://autolumination.com/7443_7440.htm

here is a pic of the bulb in its housing, it will take some finesse to get it in, because the base is plastic and not glass like the oem bulb...

I think I'd have prefered the glossy black that seems to be inside your JDM Toyota over these aftermarket matte black tails........but for the price I am completely happy.

To be honest, I haven't found anything out there I like (not that I've been looking that much). I used to have a TRD one for my Solara that I absolutely loved. But, I think I'd like to pick one up that says 4Runner on it. Any suggestions where I can look?

I posted some more pics in my thread since the last time I posted here that the pics were in. One grouping has all the info I could find on the box and taillights themselves. The most important info you could probably use is that the manufacturer seems to be "DEPO AUTO LAMP". I know that JasonB needed that info to finalize his pricing.

AAAAAAAaaaaargh!!!! My luck is the worst!! I've been waiting so patiently for these tail lights to get in. I open the box and do a quick inspection and they look fine until I get to the passenger side. OMG its cracked in the corner!!!!! The driver side came wrapped in foam, but the passenger side was just in a plastic bag crammed in one corner with cardboard. I feel around the bottom of the bag and find some chunks off the corner. :upset: :upset:

I snapped some pics and sent [email protected] an email so hopefully he responds to get me a replacement. OMG, I hope he has some to replace as I'd hate to be SOL on these especially since I've seen them and they look damn good.

Well, hell before I couldn't even post this David replied back. I'll be sending the broken lights back for a replacement. Now thats what I call staying on top of things. .:rocker:

Got my lights yesterday. Had my friend install them today and it only took about 5 minutes. They look great, and I don't see much of a problem with the passenger side. I would be shocked if anyone ever noticed it besides me.

Contact David if you do because he seemed pretty responsive when I emailed him. I'm just waiting on a shipping address and I'll send it back for a replacement. Hopefully he follows through as I'm itching to get these on.
