That amp location is nice. I like the way it fits in there.
What does the birthsheet say on that amp. I'm sure it's over 75 RMS per channel.

gkatmar - I didn't have my cam with me when they fit the sub in. They did have to make a ring for it as the diameter is 7.x, a bit smaller than the old enclosure space. I'm not sure how they sealed it...but they did a good job.
Clemson - I just checked and think I tossed my birthsheet (wasn't in the box). I'm sure you are right, it has to be more then 75 rms...the kappas run great on that amp.
FYI - I have the old JBL 10disc h/u, sub, amp and door speakers if anyone wants em.

looksstock you have EXACTLY the setup I want to purchase to replace my JBL Synthesis.
How satisfied have you been with the PDX-5? Does it power your sub completely?
Where did you put the Kappa tweeters?
I want to do the Kappas in all 4 doors and put the tweets in the JBL tweeter spots.

mrmack - The PDX-5 is awesome..it kicks the sub hard. I can't take the volume past 85% for fear of blowing the sub (although I've been told by circuit city that shouldn't happen).
I only put Kappa's in the front, so I used the stock tweeter location (replacing the JBLs).
The quarts work just fine for the rears - and since I'm never in the rear, spending the extra $ wasn't a priority.

Unfortantely, I did not take any pics of the sub before they closed it all up. The only thing "special" CC did was to go out and buy some polyurethane (pillow stuffing?) and put in the stock enclosure - according to the tech, he said it would fill the air better. Whatever he did - sounds really good !
