On that rear bumper, you should turn those lens into brake lights
I had plans on turning them into reverse lights but haven't had the time.
I took the day off today and spent it replacing the valve cover gaskets. The last couple months they have been leaking at the bottom onto the exhaust and it was getting pretty nasty.
I found several videos on Youtube and decided this was something I could handle. Here's a link to the video I found the most useful if someone wants to tackle this. 4.7 V8 Valve Cover Gaskets If you perform most maintenance on your Runner this wouldn't be any more difficult. I was a little reluctant but taking my time and being careful made it through with nothing braking or getting lost.
I do still need to pick up a torque wrench that will do 53 inch lbs of torque the valve covers require.
Bolts and coil packs removed. I kept them in the correct order and installed them back where they came from.
Drivers side, looks like I need oil treatment next oil change.
Also replaced the spark plug gaskets.
Passenger side.
Keeping everything organized.
Parts used. I dug around and found the part numbers I needed and ordered the gaskets off Amazon. The spark plug gaskets came from Rock Auto.

I was able to pick up some pull off wheels from a late model 5th gen. TForce 4Runner. I got these at a good price and they were in perfect shape. The offset on the wheels pushed the tires out .5"-.75" from stock. I have 1.25" spacers and might consider running these without the spacers or change them out with something smaller.
