'03 to '06 headlight wiring

So, I was under the impression that it was going to be a pug and play, but it looks like the housings only fit H11 bulbs where as the wiring harness is for the 9005.

Are my only options to cut off the socket and put a new one on?

You can get premade adapters off of ebay and amazon relatively cheaply. Check out the link in my signature for a guide on how to do the swap.
