Swap out the ACC CUT Relay in the under hood fuse box.
Thanks for the input. Swapped out the ACC CUT relay and the radio went off. The multi-info display light and clock still stays on. Any other possible suggestions?

There's been no mods to the vehicle. It's the stock JBL stereo. As I was looking into why the Multi-infor display was on (only the clock and light stays on) the stereo unit began to go on and off on its own without the key even in the ignition. I removed the ACC Cut relay and the problem continue to persists. The only way to date that I can turn both units off is by pulling the Radio 2 fuse. With that fuse removed, my multi-info display unit as well as the radio goes on and off as normal. The only difference is that I have no sound out of the radio. Channels and various modes can be changed, just no sound. I've checked all the connections at the rear of the deck, as well as the multi-info display. All connections were intact and secure.

The 20 amp radio #2 only gives power to the power amp mounted on the subwoofer in the rear. There was a service bulletin on the amp but I don't recall there being an interaction with the A/C display. I think I would show this to the dealer and mention the TSB. They should give you a new amp.
Exact Same Problem - Radio wont turn off
I have the same problem - just started after a week of rainy weather. Need to manually turn off the radio but a/c clock, temp panel wont turn off. This is draining the battery overnight. Seems to be Acc Cut Relay or Ignition switch? Has anyone else had a similar problem and or solution? Thanks

For now you can pull the 20 amp radio#2 fuse. Get the JBL amp replaced.
Work Around
Here is what I did to by-pass the circuit and have the system work exactly as before - on with Acc and off when key is off. I went and got two mini "add a circuits". Plug one into the Radio 20A slot under hood - remove the main fuse and use only the new accessory fuse slot.
Take the second add a circuit and tap into the Cigarette Lighter circuit (this is in the cabin drivers side fuse panel). You will need to run a wire through the firewall - fairly easy look where the Hood latch cable goes and you can stick it through the same large rubber grommet.
Use the Cigarette lighter circuit to supply power to the Radio 2 and it should work fine - at least until you can find a new AMP then can easily revert to original set-up. Let me know if you need more clarification.

I finally found the problem. Water overflowed my rear sunroof drain while parked on my steap driveway. Normally the truck parks on flat ground or in a garage so we never had a problem. I guess the rear drain get handle large amounts of water on its own. I tested the truck on flat ground and it never overflowed. Once on the driveway it did well with a light rain but failed when it came down hard or you washed the truck.The water ran down the wiring harness and filled up a junction connector were the Radio 2 fuse power as well as the acc circuts run to feed the amp. The water caused a back feed of 6 volts to the radio and muti display unit since the radio 2 fuse is a constant hot. Thanks for all the suggestions and don't park on steap driveways with sunroof models. Aloha Mark

Sunroof Drain plagged / stereo display won't turn off
I just experienced the same problem on my 04 4Runner, Sunroof drain plugged up... rain came and then water soaked the backseat floorboards. It was all wet before I realized the problem. 1 week later,the multi display and the Nav/stereo display wont turn off even when the key is out. It is draining my battery. I pulled the #2 radio fuse for now. But no stereo...
Just wondering is there any other solution besides doing the by-pass method as mentioned above to fix the issue? Can the radio junction connector be replaced to fix this and where is that located? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Ok i am going to do an update since their is no clear answer on this. I haven't solved my radio problem but have found what could be causing it. As stated above my rear sunroof drains were the issue. After pulling the entire back half of the interior out i discovered that the two rear tubes that lead down to the back of the car to let the water drain were unplugged from the sunroof!!! It was as if someone had pulled them off to clean before but never put the metal clamp back on to hold them and somehow they came off? someone blowing air again to clean drain? who knows but all that water would just run down the a piller then under the seats. All the radio amp and sub and wires looked fine but i haven't cut into the main harness to inspect the wires yet. But this is what i found so far. Soon as i find the main culprit i will post photos and info. thanks kyle
