05 4runner dash lights

So I picked up a used 4runner everything is great so far.

Yet something I can not figure out. everything under the stereo has no lights like the a/c knobs don't have any backlighting and the lcd screen thing doesn't have backlights.

I don't have a manual and I have looked for the fuse but no clue on the label.

Maybe the dimmer is turned all the way down? But that would affect the lights on your cluster too. My dimmer on my 07 is to the left of the steering wheel on the front of the dash.

That's not it, it was the first thing I checked.
All other lights work.

Or it could be simply (but freakishly) that all the bulbs are burnt out. This link should help!

I've got an 05 as well and my "computer screen" above the cluster, that displays the mileage, temp, etc. is starting to dim at times and I'm thinkin it may be getting close to going too.
Surprised they would sell a truck with bad/no bulbs in the cluster.

Seems much more likely that something's unplugged.

I'll give that a try thanks.

before replacing the bulbs make sure you check the fuse.I know its located in the engine compartment but i honestly can't remember which one it is.
