So, just caught this video from East Coast Gear Supply,
thought I would share it with you guys that might be hearing sounds coming from your axles/differential.
Im not sure if this is a popular problem or not with the 4th gens.

"Short tech video detailing why some Tacomas, FJ Cruisers, and 4runners, have a vibration or growling sound from front Driver side CV shaft or differential. This is a Toyota 8" clamshell Differential. Issues Include: Needle bearing tolerance is to loose and spider gear bore is not machined to center the gear. East Coast Gear Supply specializes in differential parts and service and offers rebuilt Toyota differentials to be shipped to the end user for install."
