05+ Xterra folding seats in 4runner, retrofit possible?

I briefly kept a 08 Xterra Offroad before I decided to buy a much cheaper 98 4runner (4wd with elocker) which I am slowly converting into a dedicated expedition vehicle, this was the only way I could justify the initial cost and keeping two vehicles for one person.

I have not missed anything from the Xterra except the ability to fold the back and front passenger seat completely flat to create a platform for sleeping, which I had to do once since all camping sites were full at the Nantahala Gorge.
Has anyone tried swapping their seats with 2nd gen Xterra seats, I think it is awesome feature to be able to sleep "comfortably" in certain scenarios and stretch your legs rather than being in a fetal position

What do you guys think, can I just use the rails from my current 4runner seats and retrofit them somehow? ...I have a LTD but I would be ok with loosing the electric seats............or there are better options?
Please keep in mind that I am looking to keep the rear hatch completely closed

I do the same thing.. Take the lower back seats out. You can actually buy some wing nuts in place of the regular ones to make it easier for removal. I'm bout 5'10 and can sleep straight if I wanted to. I use a thermal rest mattress similar to the one in the link above along with sleeping bag and sheets. Works great.

Thanks guys, the idea with the wing nuts is what I will go with, I guess I was way over thinking it....
