that first picture is of the Air conditioning high pressure cutoff switch. Nothing to do with turn signals.
I'mmmmmmmmmmm dumb. Welp, this is embarrassing. Thanks for pointing it out though! Guess I'll have to look again.

sorry, better safe than sorry though. The cap with the H on it is the high side AC line tap for servicing. I believe the connection you are looking for is further to the left by the fog lamp
once the headlights are out it will be easier to see which wire. youll be able to match up each wire from the headlight to headlight sockets and marker lights to marker light socket. Then bring the blinker wire up to the blinker socket.
If you don't want dual turn signals you could make the second bulb a DRL or another orange bulb, or whatever you want really.
When I put mine in I stripped a small amount of wire from the harness and soldered the new socket to it.
Sorry, not sure if this was mentioned yet, but where did you find the trim pieces for under the headlights? Did you find them painted?

I ordered mine through my dealership, they can order them per paint code still IIRC.

...ok I'm just going to admit this right up front...I did a stupid thing and just unplugged everything. There is a Loooong story about my 02/03 4runner and the failed hydra boost/master cylinder that ill share upon request ... but for now I need HELP plugging it all back in.
i'll try snapping some pix now...basically just everything under the driver-side dash as I was prep. to remove master cylinder.
No I'm fairly certain the two have nothing to do with each other...however when I did a thread search for "under dash wire harness diagram" yours was one of the threads that came up. It was the closest thing I could find, I apologize. Are you sure you're in the right thread? Not exactly sure what the master cylinder has anything to do with the 06+ headlights. Although I could be wrong.
