So to hold me over for winter I got 1 3/4" front spacers to level out my 2015. Looking at them last night I held them up to the strut where they go in and noticed the current strut bolts look like they will stick out the top a tiny bit (maybe 1/8" or 1/4" at most).
Curious if anyone has ran 1.75" spacer in front and if I needed to trim down the existing top hat bolts to make the spacer sit flush?
I did talk to someone who said they had to trim theres down but was curious as to me buying a different brand. Now im am starting to think its the idea behind you need more spacer to fulfill covering the strut bolts completely.
They are rounded at the top so I dont think it will be a big deal to just grind them down a little bit. Maybe not... thoughts?
