That's a bit of exaggeration. First, you want 5100's on all 4 corners. The rears have no lift settings.

Yes, the rear springs are soft-ish, and if you load it good, yes it'll sag. I've had >900# of flagstone in mine three times, loaded evenly across the whole floor. Also had 300 lbs of tongue weight too (no night driving like this). Did it sag then? sure... but if that's going to be your thing, get air bags.

So how much weight do you have to load up before you notice sag? Will daily use create an issue or no? I haven't found any definitive answer on whether a rear seat passenger or two and some cargo will cause it to sag.

The answers to your questions are subjective. I am bone stock with 4 Billies, fronts @.85, stock springs, P-rated tires, all which I am content with. 4 adults + luggage results in a slight change in the ride feel. Does it sag? Define sag. I'd guess at this load, the rear may settle a pretty small amount. Doubt it's noticeable ... but then I don't get out and look.

If I were to travel with 4 adults (say 700-800#) plus luggage I'd blow the tires up to 40# and give it no more thought.

Good to know on the .85. Thanks for sharing. I'm just really torn between that and the 1.75 and I've read to the point of nauseous about the pros and cons. Just haven't heard definatively about this sag on the OEM springs and higher setting. Any setting is going to sag with 1,200 lbs of weight in the back, but how about normal operation? I may be stretching this out more than it's worth. I'm not hearing anything convincing enough for the 1.75 setting.

Il everything I have searched or read is related to front/rear lifts. All I want to do is just lift the front of my 4Runner a lil to get rid of the rake without it sitting to high up front. A lil forward rake is ok. So should I go 1" or 1.5" front and does anyone have pics of just the front lift. Brands? I seen redcreek has a 1.5" and looks like cornfed has 1.5" but can't find a 1". Anyone help me out here?

Personally, I'm thinking of going with 5100's on all 4 corners, set the fronts at .85, & add (2) 1/4" Top Plate Spacers. This will give me just under 1.5"'s of lift up front & an all around more firm ride & less nose dive.

2" rake on my wifes 4Runner. All she wants is the front higher so I don't know if she'll go for the 5100 route or just 1.5" spacers. I'll see how she feels once her Go Rhino 415 Series steps come in.

I have just front Bilsteins, set at the third notch 1.75" I think?. The body is perfectly level, meaning the space the top of the fender and top of the tire is exactly the same from front to back. Running board has a "slight" reverse rake. Apart front the look, the ride is 100 times better. The truck doesn't dive forward when braking. Another improvement is turns and cover-leafs getting on/off highways. The front of the truck stays almost perfectly level, as opposed to swaying and diving to the outside of the turn. Even things like speedbumps and rough roads in general (New York potholes in the winter) were drastically improved as well.

Probably the same reason the one in your sig is leveled!! LOL! To make it look right rather than nose diving everywhere.

Unless you put a heavier spring, your still gonna have a nosedive.

I had 5100's on my 2012 4runner SR5. I liked them. I just did the shocks, no springs. I had the front on either the second or third perch. Gave it a nice level look.

I never really noticed much nose dive on it, but the breaks on that truck were supper soft, so you had to really stomp on it.
