These are all encouraging #'s and maintenance history. The exact reason I bought another Toyota after my Taco. Mine is a '15 with 33k miles. I'm on pace to have upwards of 120k at the 5 year mark. I'm hoping for minimal maintenance. Might be a long shot but I would love to have my 4R be my 1.5 year old daughter's first car.

This is all good to hear. We are thinking of getting a new '16 for my wife. We are wanting something that will last without a bunch of issues. I love my tundra.

Just flipped over 100K on my drive to work! 2013 SR5 4x4 bought new in November 2012. Regular maintenance and a lead foot - lots of highway miles. About time for a transmission fluid change & some new plugs!

144K on my 2010 Trail. Just changed all the brake pads, the indicator had just started squealing on the fronts. I can't believe I got that many miles out of the factory brake pads. Rotors were in great shape. Nothing out of the ordinary maintenance wise since I bought it with 8k miles on it in 2011. On my third set of tires.

What oil change interval have you been using (if something different from the recommended 10k)?
Have others on here been changing their oil sooner? I decided to do mine at 8k because I have a fair amount short trips/idling/stop-n-go traffic.

I personally stick to 9,950 mile OCI's or less Mainly to keep the 10K OCI/warranty requirements happy. Lots of (lead footed) open highway miles for me though.

Replaced the Bridgestones at 44000 with Michelins, battery was replaced under warranty after 15 months, and I had to get a new one 3 months ago. Off to the dealer tomorrow for oil, state inspection, and a couple of minor repairs - left brake light isn't working, it's not the bulb, and the hatchback switch lost the rubber about 18 months ago. I also need a new fog light on the left, but that was due to an owl committing suicide one dark night.
The left brake light on my 2010 TE wasn't working either. Tried replacing the bulb and that didn't work. It started working again with enough fiddling/rotating the bulb holder tightly enough. Some contact must have not been touching completely. Been 4-5 months without issue from it. I would double check to make sure the bulb holder is rotated enough into a locked position for good electrical contact.

I haven't had to repair anything and I'm now at 169k. I have a good mechanic who looks it over good at every oil change. I'm at the point where the XREAS system is starting to leak so I will be replacing the system with Blisten shocks and struts. Probably ought to change out the original spark plugs sometime soon lol.
Still runs great and shines like new. Anyone out there beat 169k miles on a

183K Miles going for tire set number 4
I am getting new Bridgestones on today at 183k miles. These tires lasted me over 85K so I can't complain. I did replace the XREAS system with Blisten Shocks and Struts and I replaced the plugs and coil packs. My dad keeps trying to buy it from me but I'm holding on to it.

10K synthetic oil changes and tire rotations every other oil change. Also doing an engine (de-sludge) mixed in gas tank every 6 months. Since this post I have also changed my brake pads my self. Currently sitting a 135000 miles. Put about 30K a year on it in outside sales.:drum:
