13 Limited-Squeaky brakes?

Anyone else have an issue? My 4R only has 4600 miles, and now I've noticed the brakes squeaking right before it comes to a stop.

The dealer told me it was probably "water crystals":rofl: He also said that the 4R is a "large vehicle" which can contribute to squeaking. I came from a crew cab dodge diesel, the 4R is NOT a large vehicle!

All in all, I think this was his way of saying he didn't give a damn that my 13 Limited 4R has squeaky brakes. I should just accept it. Of course, I know better. It's not normal. This is a brand new vehicle, not a 96 Chrysler.

both my 4runner had/have some minor squeeking as i come to a stop.. my mothers gs is known to do it too and did it, and they replaced the brakes under warranty. i don't know if Toyota would do that.

My 2013 limited has a right front that squeaks when cold and right before stop. Drives me crazy. I have 16k miles and it probably started 3k ago. Asked goodyear when I had my silent armors rotated and the guy said it was common. Haven't been to the dealer yet.

My 2013 LE brakes are quiet at 11K miles.

Wow! Up to 4 posts, and noone has spelt "breaks". New record.

My 2010 brakes have never squealed, ever.

"Water crystals" .... bwahahaha. I'd have laughed in his face.

To clarify, mechanic said it was common in general, not with 4runners specifically.
