How do you like the Goodyear DuraTraks? Are they fairly quiet on the highway?

I'll be happy with it overall. But I am very disappointed that Toyota makes a so-called "Trail Edition" insinuating that it's made specifically for offroading, yet they don't include All-Terrain tires with it. Nissan does, and so does Jeep. That's like putting all-terrain tires on an Avalon.

I LOVE them! you will definitely notice them over the stocks, but they aren't like a roaring mud tire.. it's average I'd say for AT tires. And MAN do these things chug through mud too! I have the D Load that is available in the 285 size

Are the dealer decals common? I rarely see them here in California. That'd be the first thing to go, I'd have them remove it before I left the lot.

Very nice! I love the trail editions, they are by far my favorite 5th gen trim. Enjoy her and have fun modding!

I've been running duratracs for the past six months or so and so far I'm really glad I got them. They do make a nice sound on the road, but as was said above not like big mudder tires. They give my 4runner a looks like it can go anywhere kind of gnarly stance, but nice. Get it lifted tho.

I'm in Bullhead City, right on the Colorado River. We'll be retiring in about three years and probably moving some place cooler. Like you!
BTW, on the lifting--who did yours? Any issues afterwards?

They are here in Arizona. The ones I took off my 4R were actually individual vinyl letters--very sneaky--because they're time consuming to take off. Got to pull off one letter at a time. A lot of dealers paste on the old style decals. Those can be hard to get off without marring the finish a bit.

I had the dealer install icon coil overs before I picked it up. About three inch lift. Just right. In any case they warranty it also. No issues. They also put the duratracs on for me. I later installed metal tech sliders that I had done right at the shop in Newberg. Didn't know they were located right over the mountains from me. She's looking good now. Never had such gnarly looking tires that only made a nice warm humming sound on the highway. They kick butt off road, and in snow they're awesome. If I continue to have no issues with them they will be my regular tires for years to come on my runner.
