Hey,
Been browsing the forums for a long time but never a member. A little info...
My dad bought a 1987 pickup extended cab straight from the factory when I was 4. Grew up loving that beast. Never got stuck. Torquey as hell. I saved up and worked for it and when I was 16, I didn't get it. I got a crap jeep that blew up a month later. THEN I was deemed worthy and got the Toyota!
Joined the navy a few years later, my truck got stolen while in boot camp. Huge blow to the heart.
It's been ten years and I've finally found a rig just like the other one from my past. Same color, no rust, 217k miles, just a 1st gen 22RE 4Runner. Hmm. This will work! Got it today for $5,400 in Stafford, VA.
Bout to drive this rig from Virginia to Tucson, AZ. I'll be taking pictures and doing build write-ups as they happen. Plenty in the works
