I have about 5k miles on my TEP. Love the truck, but as it sits stock, I'm looking for a bit more aggressive stance. It's a commuter car for me (100 miles RT, 3 days/week), so I'm not looking to put any kind of major lift. I've been interested in the TRDP suspension since it's a stock suspension that will give it a bit more aggressive stance (and it will still be covered under my 100k mile warranty), but the price tag is insane for what it is.
So, I've been looking at other options. What about putting 5100's all the way around and setting the fronts at 1" or so (maybe 0.85? Suggestions?). This would obviously be a cheaper option, but I'm not too familiar with putting lifts on vehicles.
What else could I expect in terms of ride quality, stance, long term maintenance issues? Thanks for all your info/help.
PS- I plan to add AT3's at some point in the future to round out the look.
