*Update 1/23 the guys below noticed it has a salvage title. Bummer because I really like that color. I wouldn't completely write it off though if they're willing to sell it for way less and you can get full history why it's considered salvaged.

I don't think anyone was calling you out (at least I wasn't). I think everyone was just having a good laugh at the delusion some people are under when it comes to the desirability of these.

"Ok yeah, a perfect example would be $39k, but mine has a rebuilt salvage title so I'll knock $250 off of it".

Yeah, I don't think anyone was calling you out. It's not like the guy listing it made the salvage title very prominent in the listing. It's kinda buried in there. Seems like some ish a shady dealer would pull to me. I might consider $29, 000 for that truck, though.

How rare is quicksand on 4Runners? I've only seen people posting pictures of cement and cavalry blue recently. It seems that inferno and quicksand have been forgotten.

That car must have been hammered for them to salvage it. The insurance company will pay for repairs that do not exceed the price of the vehicle. So the repair estimate must have been high, like $20K plus. Or frame damage.
