I'm a Disabled Vet and need to pick up some reasonably priced tires, I don't work and can't work so I have zero income with the exception of my VA Disabilty income which is not much and it's hard to live on that as you can imagine, that may change one day don't know. So for the time being, some safe I guess you could say some budget tires. I do not 4 wheel all over at all, never well. Just a tire that gives me a decent ride, we don't off road at all. Thanks very much y'all. I am kind of thinking 265/70/17.

Hey brother!!! I run Westlake 285/70R17's, they do make them in the 265/70R17 as well. Pretty reasonably prices, balanced really well, and I've got several thousands of miles on mine with very little wear.

+1 on mastercraft cxt coursers. i run 235/80/17 on TRD 7 inch wide rims. specs say near 32 inch dia, but they are 31 installed. have run ~5k on them all in the last 6 weeks driving dirt / sand roads of all sorts and plenty of highway traveling. they have seemed serviceable for on and off paved road in dry dirt thru the between stuff into snow conditions. not good for iced up roads.

also, look at nitto exo grappler. i have two of these mounted, but am waiting for ice / sub zero to set in before i put them on. supposed to be good for winter.

decided to look for other tire options to as duratracs and many are just too high at ~300, so chose ones closer to ~200 to test out.

disclaimer, have never ran mastercraft or nittos before. local tire guy says lots of people like and run them. was not aware of mastercraft before he suggested, which are made by cooper.
