1985 4runner Project- 22re - Offroad vehicle or back to stock- oh the dilemma!

The goal now, was to obtain collector plates which is a real pain in the rear end. Must be stock, in exceedingly good condition and only certain components can be era specific (within 2 years) to qualify.

This is wack. Here in Utah the process to get classic/collector plates goes something like this:

Me: Oi! DMV! My truck is over 30 years old, gimme some collectors plates!
DMV: Yeah? Is it a daily driver?
Me: Nope.
DMV: Ok, here you go.

Then I drive off in my safety-and-emissions-inspection-exempt collectors item. :flipoff:

You should have never bought the truck if your intent is for offroad abuse! That thing belongs in a museum, I wouldnt wanna see that thing scratch up. Now go find a beater truck. Good Luck! :lol:
