1989 4runner power steering leak

Hey guys

I'm looking at buying an 89 4runner, manual diesel in the next two or so weeks but I'm after some insight first.

I'm going to get an RAA check and that but from what I already know it has a small power steering leak. Has anyone had this problem and fixed it before or at least know whether it's an expensive fix?

Depends on where/what's leaking, pump, reservoir, hoses, gear box.
Replacing a bad hose is a lot easier than replacing a pump, for example.

Thanks, I've sent them a message to see if they know otherwise I'll check back when we've had a thorough look over it.

Apart from being difficult, worst case scenario, is it expensive to replace?
