OK, 1990 5 spd 3.0L starts fine and runs smooth, but throws a CEL usually as I accelerate from a stop. When I turn the key off it goes away and doesn't blink when I connect the diagnostic pins. I've even tried running it with the pins connected, but still no code. Maybe I'm doing it wrong (very possible/probable).
This 4Runner is not for road use. Trails only. The engine was replaced before I bought it, and lots of the vacuum lines were run to whatever they would reach. I've done an ADD delete and capped those lines. The charcoal canister is gone, and maybe a few other things. It does start and run, however, so it does all I need it to, even with the CEL coming on.
I'm thinking a vacuum leak is most likely, but haven't been able to track it down.
