Not to hijack, but I am looking for a tailgate for a 1990 with a spare tire carrier and glass, hopefully in white.
If anybody finds one, let me know.

Any idea if those can be made to fit on a 2nd gen that has the undermounted spare? My carrier rusted out so I need a way to carry my spare now.

The details of how to cut open the rear quarter panel are lacking. I decided not to to do it hence my OEM carrier is for sale.
Another option is to cruise the bone yards to try to find a low cost under carriage replace ment'
