1991 noises and other oddities...

Hey guys
I just bought a 1991 4runner, for 800$ and it needs a little work.
Why would the same noise come from under the hood when I turn the steering wheel and press the brake pedal?
I have no power assist right now, I know it needs a new powersteering pump, but I cant figure out the relation to the brakes!?!?
the brakes work, tho the rotors and pads are so bad it feels like an ABS system kicked in! (pads and rotors are easy...)
the only other thing it does odd, is the rear window goes up, pause, up, pause, up, pause all the way to the top...but hey it works!
its a 1991 toyota, v6.
unknown liftkit, OTT sound system.

Possibly wheel bearings.

Mine does the same thing. Not sure what the issue is. But then again, I haven't made an attempt to diagnose it yet.

Its hard to tell what a sound is without hearing it. Any way you could get a video or something so we can hear it?

So the noise happens when you are turning AND have your breaks on? Does it do it you are just applying the breaks, or only when turning?

there is a vacuum switch that ups the idle on a hard turn connected to the p/s pump and obviously there's vacuum to the power brake booster is it a possible vacuum leak or maybe cause the pumps bad the vacuum switch is not functioning properly

The noise (sounds almost but not quite like belt squeal) come with brakes. Its also comes with turning the wheel. there independant, but both produce the same noise.
I am recovering from a small surgery atm, will try to get to the truck for videos etc when I am better.. In the mean time I have waay too much time to think!
