1994 4Runner Brakes

I just changed the rear brake shoes and right rear oil seals and bearings on my parents 4 Runner.

When I got done I bleed the rear brakes ( I had to take off the R-Rear wheel cylinder, so I had to blead them)

When I was all done, the brake pedal goes down a litter father than before, and the brake light is always on.

I didn't know that this rig had ABS on it, but when I took out the axel, it has a senser on it. Is there anything else that I should do to get that light off?

My next plan is to re-bleed all of the breaks, and re-adjust the rear shoes.

I assume you have drum brakes on the back.

You probably need to adjust them.

When you pull off or put on the brake drum it should be snug. I usually adjust mine so that I have to wiggle it back and forth to get it over the brake shoes.

To adjust the brakes just turn the little pinion gear. There should be an arm with a cog that prevents you from loosening the brakes.

That should bring the pedal back up to the normal position when you hit the brakes.
